About This Room
At 750 square feet, the Bamboo Room is our largest unit, with a double-door private entry, a large living room, and awesome views of the Pacific Ocean and Hilo Bay. From January to April, watch for humpback whales jumping and splashing as they migrate.
The huge gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, custom mango cabinets, a large island with a gas stovetop, a double convection oven, a dishwasher, and a full-size refrigerator/freezer, with a dining table for four.
A shoji screen sets off the bedroom, with a Sleep Number King bed, two nightstands, a dresser, and a large armoire. Trade winds, screened windows, three ceiling fans, and split-system air conditioning keep the room comfortable.
